Sports Sunday!

Just to remind you all about Free sports this Sunday! 1.30-2.30pm for football, basketball, badminton and table tennis at the sports centre, top of the hill on campus!

SIDMOUTH THIS SATURDAY!

We're getting the coach at 8.45am (from the Old Library) to Exmouth and then taking a boat, yes I did say a boat, round to the lovely town of Sidmouth!


The folk festival starts this weekend, with musical events and even famous morris dancing!

So, don't forget to sign up for a place this week. Remember, the day includes a boat trip from Exmouth to Sidmouth! Places will go quickly, so get your seat booked at the Old Library reception!

Don't forget we have a pub quiz this Thursday! Come along and see how much you know about general knowledge, sport, music, and celebrities, and maybe have a drink too! We're meeting outside the Old Library at 7pm, hope to see you then!

Going to Cardiff tomorrow?

The Millenium Stadium, on Westgate Street, is one of the country's leading sport and event venues! Tours are available and start from the WRU Shop, Gate 3 of the Millennium Stadium. The venue hosted FA Cup Finals and major artists of music including Madonna, the Rolling Stones, Robbie Williams and U2 even performed there! So surely it's worth a look!



The Museum is a cultural gem which offers something for everyone. A recent exhibition includes the Wildlife photographer of the year. The art collection includes work from all over the world and over a 500 year time frame!
Cardiff Bay also has a great selection of places to eat! This is a fantastic place for lunch or maybe try the very famous and very lovely 'Welsh Cake' - with a good cup of tea it's the perfect afternoon snack!
