What to do in the sun

We have been really lucky getting such nice weather for so long! Everyone should take advantage of this. Yesterday I was able to go to the beach for a quick surf.

I forgot to take my camera so i've attached a picture I took of the sunset at Saunton Sands beach in march. Exeter is lucky to be so close to so much beautiful coast line. I think that everyone should try and get to the beach while we still have all this sun about!!!

Here comes the Sun!

So it seems we're in for another lovely sunny weekend...when it's like this the first thing I always want to do is head to the beach! Luckily here in the south west we're close to many beaches of all kinds...whether you like sand or pebbles, travelling to the south coast or north of Devon, or if you're feeling adventurous across the counties into Cornwall....the nearest ones I like to visit are Exmouth and Sidmouth, which are both less than 30minutes away, and easily accessible by train and bus...use the links on the main page to plan your journey! Another thing I like to do, because the sun is a rare visitor sometimes, is try to capture it...if you feel strong enough try it yourself, and post the image here!

More about Salsa Tuesdays!

So I tried to find some examples of some salsa dancing for everyone to enjoy, and some of the artists they play on a Tuesday night in Timepiece...even though it is marketed as a 'salsa night' the DJ does play International pop too!

Tuesday Timepiece!

So another great night out in the club Timepiece, my favourite night as they play lots of International pop music and sell the Spanish drink Sangria...definitely worth a visit on a Tuesday night if you would like to dance and meet people!

Coffee in the cathedral green!

Today the weather was brilliant! So after I left the INTO center I had a cup of coffee in the cathedral green. It was really nice sitting in the sun watching the people walk past.

I went to a cafe called "The Plant" its a really nice place to relax on a sunny afternoon!
